About me

My name is Kourtney Woodhouse. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), with a Masters of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Since I can remember, I have always had a passion for helping others and this passion led me here today.

Being mindful for me is holistic. It involves spending time with friends and family, being on the soccer field, maintaining my home, and providing moments throughout the day and week to pause. The journey can look different from time to time, but is the foundation I use.

A common question asked in interviews is “how would your friends describe you?” My answer is kind, compassionate, and open-minded. These qualities offer a safe space to overcome challenges and discover your inner strengths. My personal journey with my own therapist has taught me that we cannot do it alone. WHY? My approach
